I stało się. Nie wiemy jak, nie wiemy kiedy, ale to prawda. Amelka skończyła pół roku. Pierwsze zęby idą, ale dojść nie mogą (za to wiemy, że idą cztery…), raczkowania dopiero początki, ale za to radość nie ma końca. Mniej radośnie jest w nocy, kiedy to Młoda budzi się co dwie godziny (albo i częściej…). Ale nic to. Ostatnio odkryliśmy spanie na brzuszku – trochę pomaga. Byliśmy też na dwóch weselach w ciągu miesiąca – Amela zniosła je bardzo dzielnie, mimo że pierwsze skończyło się poważnym katarem. Na drugim natomiast zawojowała wszystkich i raz przebiła popularnością nawet samą pannę młodą 😉 Zaliczyła też test bojowy spania przy grającej orkiestrze. Generalnie dziecko stworzone do imprezowania rodzinnego 😉
No a za bardzo niedługo czeka nas duuuża podróż – lecimy przecież do tej rodziny tam na dole.
P.S. Tu Amelia. Czy wspominałam, że piję wodę? Z kubeczka? Fajny jest, tylko nie sprawdza się jako grzechotka – za bardzo boli, jak się nim przypadkiem uderzę…

And so it’s happened. We don’t really know how, we don’t really know when, but it is true: Amelia is half a year old. The first teeth are coming but can’t quite make up their mind and arrive in her mouth (but we know that there are four of them on the way…), it is only just the beginning of crawling, but the fun and joy never cease. It’s a little less joyful at night when Amelia wakes up every two hours (or more often than that…). But that’s nothing. We’ve also discovered sleeping on the tummy – that helps a little. We’ve also been to two weddings in the last month – Amelia was really brave at both of them, even though the first one resulted in a seriously runny nose. At the second one Amelia was THE star, once she even stole all of the attention from the bride 😉 She also passed a big test in sleeping while the band was playing (and loudly). She seems to have been designed for family partying 😉
And in not too long we embark on our big adventure – we’re flying to see our family down under.
P.S. It’s Amelia here. Have I mentioned that I now drink water? From a sippy cup? It’s really cool, only it doesn’t work too well as a rattle – it hurts just this little bit too much when I hit myself with it by accident…
